Approximately 60,000 burners are looking back on their time spent in Black Rock City and the many memories they had during the week long festival. Burning Man has shared with the world a video from its live stream that shows a notable moment from the festival, the burning of the large ‘Embrace’ sculpture.

Embrace’ was made of 160,000 pounds of wood and stood at 72 feet tall, the same scale as the Statue of Liberty. The idea was brought to life by The Pier Group, who raised thousands of dollars on Kickstarter, and was assembled by a group of volunteers. We included a photo of the massive art installation in our feature showing photos captured on social media from Burning Man this year.

The sculpture is ignited at the 6:45 mark. Enjoy!
