Montreal's newest electronic music festival, ÎleSoniq, lived up to its hype and anticipation! Parc Jean-Drapeau was transformed into dance music heaven across two thumping days in August on the 15th and the 16th.

The rain was relentless, but that didn't stop festival goers in all their garb and charm, dancing the days away through the slush and greenery across three state-of-the-art stages.

Bare skin ravers were spotted amongst the sea of ponchos, peppered with kandi kids, silly signs, crazy animal masks and the raver gorilla with bikini-clad horse head, making a fashion statement.

The good times kept on rolling with performances by local EDM bandits and an onslaught of big beats from in-demand acts on the roster: Tiesto, Dillon Francis, Iggy Azalea, Laidback Luke, Zeds Dead, Juicy J, Cosmic Gate, Infected Mushroom, Kill the Noise, 3LAU, Adventure Club, DJ Pierre, Riva Starr, Araabmuzik, Seven Lions, The Chainsmokers, Caspa, LOUDPVCK, Snails, Andru, No Kliché, and Mr Carmack, and that's just to name a few!

With plenty of bass and bounce from the EDM kids, we've got the muddy madness covered in our photo festival diary...
