It’s almost Friday, which means it’s almost time for the next installment of Sheik ‘N’ Beik’s monthly takeover of the Meatpacking District’s Up & Down! This week, Sheik ‘N’ Beik is bringing in Brooklyn deep house duo Walker & Royce (Crosstown Rebels, Safer At Night) for a very special basement session. Sheik ‘N’ Beik’s crew of talented resident DJs, FoNG and Jeffrey Scott, along with Nash, Jasper Stapleton, Mectec & Pva will join the main act in providing the tunes for the evening. The Duh! crew will co-host the event. This new party collective throws some seriously awesome parties in NYC every Friday.

Fresh from their European tour, Walker & Royce are finally back in the Big Apple after a two month adventure that took them to Watergate in Berlin, Sankeys Ibiza, Ministry of Sound in London and beyond. The groovy Brooklyn-based duo has been producing music together since 2011. One of their first releases caught the attention of Crosstown Rebels’ label boss Damian Lazarus, and the rest was history. Be sure to check out their latest EP, Moonlight Regatta, which dropped June 3rd on Curses’ imprint Safer At Night.

This will be the first time the headlining act will be featured downstairs and it’s going to be off the chain. The lighting is darker, the ceilings are lower, and the vibes are killer. Pull yourself together and bring your friends – celebrate the weekend right and don’t miss out!

For free entry before 11:30pm RSVP at missedconnections@sheiknbeik.com.
