The latest video to be released by IMS from its recent summit in Los Angeles is the engaging conversation between dance music heavyweights Giorgio Moroder and Pete Tong. Giorgio’s accomplishments in the music world include producing Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” and co-producing Daft Punk’s Grammy-winning album ‘Random Access Memories.’ Pete Tong’s most recent major achievement was being awarded the MBE by the Queen of England.

The conversation kicked off with Giorgio reciting the famous line from Daft Punk’s “Giorgio By Moroder:” “My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everyone calls me Giorgio.” From there, the two chatted casually about the evolution of their respective careers and how DJing has changed over the years.

Giorgio asked Pete about his recent move to Los Angeles. Tong stated that “LA is inspiring, it’s opening up many doors and it just feels right to be here.” They also spoke about Pete’s “All Gone” music brand and platform and the origins of its name.
