TribeOne Dinokeng: 350 DJs & Artists, 62 Stages, 72 Hours Non-Stop

TribeOne: Dinokeng Festival launched by ROCKSTAR4000, Sony Music Entertainment Africa and the City of Tshwane has set sights on becoming the biggest annual music festivals on the African continent and an historic first addition from Africa to the international world of world-class mega music festivals.

The multi-day music festival will take place on the 26th, 27th and 28th of September 2014 in the historic mining town of Cullinan, located in the South African region of Dinokeng. As the festival’s inaugural year in 2014 coincides with South Africa’s 20 Years of Democracy, the City of Tshwane will also use this world class music festival as the platform to celebrate this milestone in South Africa.

TribeOne Festival will boast an electrifying mix of music genres across 3 main stages, with over 80 artists performing live on the ‘Thunder Valley’ and ‘Diamond Fields’ stages and more than 80 DJs playing live sets in the multiple ‘Dance Village’ domes. In addition to the main stages, there will be more than 50 official staged busking points per day for emerging and unsigned talent, creating a platform for up to 150 unsigned artists. The festival aims to attract more than 100 000 music enthusiasts from around the globe.

The festival will showcase the best contemporary music talent from across South Africa and the Pan African continent, as well as other prominent names from around the world with the primary focus on contemporary, mainstream music genres including Hip-Hop, R&B, Rap, Pop, Afrobeat, EDM, House, Folk, Adult Contemporary and Rock split across three main stages.
