It’s official, The BPM Festival 2013 is now imminently upon us as organizers have just released the formal Day and Night party schedule for this year’s event. It’s safe to say, they have truly outdone themselves this year. As usual, BPM is the perfect midwinter getaway for those of you who can’t wait until WMC in March. People from all over the world will once again join together in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico for a little longer than a week of madness. The party starts on January 4th and continues going strong until January 13th. Day parties will take place on Kool Beach, Mamita’s, Canibal Royal, and you catch some night action at spots like the Blue Parrot, Santanera, Coco Maya, Blue Venado, and the Alux Cave site of the infamous Rebel Cave thrown by none other than Mr. Lazarus and his band of merry gentlemen. Keep your eyes peeled for standout offerings from No. 19’s Social Experiment Party on January 6th and a whole lot more that we’ll begin to fill you in on in the weeks to come. There will be several label showcases featuring some interesting pairings such as Dirtybird vs. Pets Recordings (Catz n Dogz’ imprint) and our friends Culprit and Leftroom teaming up once again for the first time since Sonar. Keep your eyes peeled as New York’s Cielo prepares to celebrate its tenth anniversary south of the border as well.
As we approach the festival’s start, be sure to check back for nearly daily updates and features with the tremendous depth of talent set to be featured at the festival this year!
