Sasha Does NYC Warehouse Style

It’s Friday and if you live within driving distance of New York City, you’re likely aware that there’s a storm coming tomorrow night. That storm is Sasha and he, in case you didn’t know, knows a thing or two about traveling the world and blowing people’s minds with his signature style of emotive yet underground, forward thinking dance music. From his early start in the burgeoning UK acid house movement in the late 80’s through his immensely successful partnership with John Digweed, he’s built a career and reputation as a charismatic and talented icon that is unmatched in the industry.  He was even touted by Mixmag as "The Son of God."

1999’s “Airdrawndagger” and his two subsequent “Involver” series studio albums have all been met with critical acclaim and his Global Underground 013 Ibiza stands alongside his Northern Exposure collaboration mix series with Digweed as some of the best mix compilations ever put together. Over the past 20+ years that he’s been in the game he’s inspired countless bedroom DJs to follow their dreams and plucked a young James Zabiela out of obscurity to give him the chance to make himself the star he is today. World class DJs are only as good as the sound system they helm and the visual and production team behind them so it’s lucky for fans that New York’s Blkmarket Membership has once again risen to the occasion to present Sasha in an, as yet, undisclosed location. These guys have built their party brand from the ground up, primarily in the realms of techno and tech house, but as consummate purveyors of all things good times, extend their reach into the world of melodies and builds from time to time as well. The last time they hosted Sasha it proved to be an unforgettable evening that Sasha himself has been eager to repeat ever since.

Globetrotters in their own right, Taimur and Fahad will be on supporting DJ duties along with NYC’s favorite (Steven) Le Tigre setting up for the man of the hour.
