Leeds producer Miguel Campbell releases his debut album 'Back In Flight School' today via the Hot Creations imprint.
Despite having been a DJ, producer and label owner for many years, Campbell's career really took flight when Jamie Jones heard his track 'Something Special' and released it on Hot Creations, thus creating a huge hit (one of Beatport's biggest sales of 2011) and renewed worldwide interest in Campbell. 'Back In Flight School' follows the same template of 'Something Special'; a house formula with tinges of disco and pop crossover appeal.
“The aviation theme was inspired by the old 'in Flight' ethos of Funk,” explains Miguel of the LP, ”along with the amount of time I have spent on airplanes over the last year!"
