Australia finally gets its very own electronic music conference this November, set to take place over two days in late Novmember during ARIA week over three different venues at Sydney’s Jones Bay Wharf. It's name? The Electronic Music Conference, naturally. The inaugural event will bring together some of the world’s leading artists, managers, promoters, media and more across a program of panels and keynote interviews (and parties) with the aim of exploring the current state of the Australian dance music industry.
The first round of speakers have now been announced for the EMC, which along with a selection of key industry players from Australia and around the world, also unsurprisingly includes two of the top tier artists from the national 2012 Stereosonic festival; Tiesto & Diplo. The first round of panel discussions have also been revealed, which includes topics like America's EDM explosion, Australian festivals, global trends, Australia's underground party scene and more.
You can find a full list of the first round of speakers and panels after the below video.
