Armin Van Buuren recently sat down with DJ Tech Tools in San Francisco to speak about the art of DJing. For a superstar DJ that’s been killing it for years, he sounds remarkably down to earth. He offers his opinions on the digital vs. vinyl discussion, talks about some of his tricks of the trade and speaks about the industry as a whole without a hint of animosity towards other artists, genres and styles. As someone who decidedly does not like trance (anymore) I did catch him at Electric Zoo in 2010 and he pretty much destroyed the main stage along with my sense of space and time.
