The endless 'when will they release their new album?' has become all too much to bear for The Avalanches fans over the years. Most recently the only thing to qualm them has been photo evidence that they may possibly have been working with Aussie popsters Cut Copy on new material, and a new mixtape.
But wait! The sample happy Australians have just unveiled a new demo from the enigma that is their decades-plus awaited sophomore album. Entitled, 'A Cowboy Overflow of the Heart,' it features spoken word by David Berman from the Silver Jews with some very faint musical happenings in the background. It's not much, but it's something.
