This will be Brocksieper's third album, entitled 'Shortcake Strategy' and will be released on the 22nd of October on Treibstoff Recordings. The latest offering has fairytale-like melodies backed with intricately woven harmonies and the inspiration behind the name is dessert related, the idea that shortcake is light, fluffy, sweet and perfectly satisfying. Listening to the mix, and snippets of the album, this could be one of his most thought provoking and audibly dynamic explorations to date.
