'Enter into a distorted lair of alternate realities and unknown certainties, a seductive domain of twisted romance & warped fantasies, where possibilities are infinite, time is limitless and nothing is quite what it seems.' On August 1st, Visionquest takes over DC-10 for their 3rd event in as many years, but as they say, the 3rd time’s a charm; this year it has a spin, a twisted vision behind it.

The quest is to transform event spaces worldwide, ‘to create a unique, interactive and wholly immersive party experience.’ Teaming up with event conceptualist and creator of the UNTITLED parties in Detroit, Jon Ozias, and Secret Productions, the quirky landscapers behind Secret Garden Party and Glade Festival, Visionquest promise to oversee an entire transformation of DC-10, as it’s never been seen before. ‘A magical one-time experience not to be forgotten, open your mind, follow the music and be prepared to immerse yourself in the unexpected.’

"If the good lord had intended us to walk, he wouldn't have invented roller skates" – Lee Curtiss. This seems to be very much the Visionquest philosophy, pushing past the standard expectations of a club night, seeing the creative potential in the inanimate givens of a nightclub, they choose pinballing around the club on big plastic wheels over plodding monotonously to the beat, any day.
The Crew, Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Seth Troxler will all play b2b in the insde room of DC-10, all night. Together they make up a four-piece DJ and production outfit at the head of the much-lauded Visionquest record label.
11pm til 7am, Tickets start at 25E, 35E on thedoor, which seems reasonable for a big club night in Ibiza, let alone one that next week’s party patrol won’t get the chance to see.
