Tiesto Keeps Us GUESS-ing

Big moves in the world of fashion branding as Guess has just announced the company is “embarking on a comprehensive collaboration with legendary DJ and producer Tiësto that will include a limited-edition capsule collection and branded performances around the world.”

Guess?’ CEO Paul Marciano (who’s also somehow the corporation’s Creative Director as well) met Tiesto and, according to the press release, “connected right away on both a personal and professional level.” So it sounds like this is pretty serious. I hope Tiesto is taking it slow though because he could easily get swept up in this whole thing and let Marciano take advantage of him. You know, he’s a CEO AND a Creative Director and I’d be willing to be he’s a real smooth talker. We all know Tiesto leads with his heart wherever he goes and, let’s face it, sometimes nice guys finish last. I for one, am pulling for Tiesto on this fashion thing, the guy deserves a break!

Tiesto will be taking it easy this summer so you probably won’t be able to catch him anywhere near you anytime soon.  Unless you live on the planet earth.
