Thursdays at DC10 from the 5th of July has been host to Jamie Jones and his Hot Creations label and judging by its take off success, this will be one of the most talked about parties of the season. Jamie Jones last night was joined by residents Richy Ahmed, Ultrasone, Luca C and special guest, the one and only DJ Harvey, in Paradise, making it DJ Harvey's first time in Ibiza after a 10 year exile.
Jamie Jones, when talking about Paradise, commented: “I’m super excited with our residency in Ibiza this summer, and to be hosting Hot Creations presents Paradise at my favourite club in the world. DC10 has been such important club for me, and to now have my own weekly party there is a dream come true. This is going to be a fantastic summer.”
Utilising just the first room and the courtyard, it's easier to keep track of your group at Paradise than at DC10's Circoloco night, though I kind of missed the red walls. The 11pm - 7am opening hours are perfect for those who want to go out for dinner and leave the dancing until later. Ultrasone kicked off the night in style, followed impressively by Richy Ahmed (one to keep an eye on).
Luca C's turn was next and then it was over to Harvey and label head Jones. Thursdays in Ibiza have definitely got more interesting this month. Next week's line up kicks it up a notch to with Maceo Plex, Craig Richards, Simon Baker and Alex Arnout sharing the decks with host Jamie Jones.
