Compound Sydney 003 With Dizz1

Following two successful parties which saw Templar Soundystem and Cliques as headliners, Compund returns to Sydney's One22 this August, bringing Australian innovator Dizz1 to the Compound DJ booth.

Unequal parts hip hop as house, bass, techno and electronic weirdness, Dizz1 evokes as much reference to J Dilla as Joy Orbison, as much Benga as Bok Bok and as much Aphex Twin The Avalanches. From playing Sonar Festival to the Sydney Opera House, he was recently invited to the Red Bull Music Academy in Bareclona, all whilst getting air support from the likes of Benji B, Mary Anne Jobbs, Giles Peterson and the all-proving RinseFM crew.

Making a sparkling return to the Compound booth to join Dizz1 on the night will be Templar Soundsystem, for all the grimey, techno futurism you could ever need.
 

Compound #003 with Dizz1 takes place at One22 on Friday August 10th, kicking off at 10pm. $10 on the door.
