Sydney's Chinese Laundry is one of the biggest and longest running clubs in Sydney, who've served up the hottest names in house, electro, prog, tech, hip-hop, drum & bass, dubstep, breaks and mashed up party music for over a decade now. The club shows no signs of slowing down either, with their line-up for August looking to be one of their best yet. As always, it's an impressive mix of international and local talent across a myriad of genres to please every type of music and party lover.
On August 3rd, Kenny Ken, a legendary name in jungle and drum and bass will tear the club apart, along with MC Skibadee, one of the best MCs in the genre. Then on the 4th, one of Berlin's finest house producers, Oliver $, takes over.
Later in the month, you can catch the likes of progressive breaks/ trance act Hybrid, considered pioneers to the electronic genre, perform their incredible and intimate live set, followed by purveyors of the filthiest dubstep beats, Israel’s Tomba on the 17th and Boy Kid Cloud on the 24th.
Half of Bristol progressive breaks/house act, Way Out West, Jody Wisternoff, makes his way down under, and finally on the 31st, one more round of dark drum and bass with Los Angeles based, British producer, Photek.
It’s all happening at the Laundry in August, check out all the acts below.
