The Daily Telegraph report that Justin Hemmes' Ivy bar has been subpoenaed to hand over documents in preparation for the murder trial of conman Michael McGurk. Lawyers acting for accused murderer Ron Medich this morning told the Downing Local Court that they would like the bar to hand over its business records. Ivy was one of Mr McGurk and his friends' favoured drinking haunts prior to his death.
They have also asked four TV networks for copies of broadcasts and the Australian Quarantine Service and Sydney accounting firm ZM partners to hand over documents.
