The International Music Summit in Ibiza well and truly kicked off the summer season on the White Isle last week. But in true fashion, partying wasn't the only thing on the agenda as dance music heavyweights the world over converged on Ibiza town for the three day conference. Interviews, debates, speeches, panels and forums all took place during the daytime and IMS have just released one of the lengthy chats that happened within its walls.
Pete Tong took to the stage in front of some of the industry's most recognised figures to chat with former Cream head, James Barton, about the state of the music scene and his thoughts on the recent sale of the brand to Live Nation. James had this to say about the takeover; “I am delighted to be a part of the Live Nation team and know that the company is the perfect partner. Our strategies are aligned and through the combined efforts of the Cream and Live Nation teams, we will substantially grow our electronic music offerings across the globe.”, and you can watch the chat in its entirity just below.
