Ewan Pearson and Sasse Lindblad are set to launch a new label this July called Machinists. This is not the first time the duo will be working together, having shared credit on remixes of club tracks to production work for Tracey Thorn, as well as sharing the same studio in Berlin. Machinists will also be their second label venture after Misericord, a small, mainly vinyl release imprint that put out four records between 2008 and 2010, including two from Pearson's friend Al Usher.
Machinists will focus on club sounds made with analog production methods and the first release comes from Swedish producer Markus Enochson. Entitled B, the EP will be available in both vinyl and digital formats, with an extra track Tjohoo on the digital release.
