Dobie is one of those names that has always been synonymous with quality black music. He's been in the industry for decades, but still manages to produce fresh sounding beats time after time. Kicking off his career by working on the first two Soul II Soul albums, he's also remixed the likes of Massive Attack, Gangstar and Bjork in his time and earlier this month put in a stirling effort for Boiler Room.
The black music star has just been signed to Big Dada recordings, home to the likes of Wiley, Roots Manuva, Sticky and Dels, and releases his new EP today.
