Helen S, London - United Kingdom - on 31/5/12
Street parties, roof parties, day parties and festivals - the coming four day weekend has it all. Designed to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee, what better way to get involved than by heading to the seat of the monarchy and the UK's capital city, London, this weekend to see the celebration through from Friday until Tuesday. Here are our five diamond picks of where to party over the four days, with big tracks chosen by the minds behind each event and a few words from their organisers...
Dimensions: 'The smooth sounds of Floating Points will definitely be a highlight of the Dimensions Festival this year as he's been on hot streak as of late. With tracks like 'Arp 3' he breaks with the conventions of dance music genres and instead melds house, techno, jazz and soul into a highly enthralling and mind-bending sonic journey. Tracks like this will be part of the quintessential soundtrack to the 3 days on the Croatian coast come September with its blissed-out synths and funky drum grooves but rest assured it's a top candidate to ignite the dancefloor at the Dimensions Festival launch party this Friday too.'

secretsundaze: 'We’re super excited to welcome bonafide Chicago house legend and originator, Lil Louis to make his debut for us, hot after co-headlining Detroit Electronic Music Festival this weekend just gone with Public Enemy. Louis’ incredible career has spanned numerous decades and has produced so many original classics along the way, such as 'Club Lonely', 'Blackout', 'I Called You' and of course his most famous track 'French Kiss' that sold 1 million 12" copies! On top of that, we welcome back Joy Orbsion after tearing down one of our much talked about Roof Parties from last summer, as well as new secretsundaze label signing, Nyra. This track never fails to destroy a dancefloor and no doubt will this Sunday too!"
