His Majesty Andre has been quoted stating, “nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, and everything is transformed – in music like in chemistry”, a direct insight to his natural talent and style as a producer and DJ, renowned for sampling heavily from his parents old record collection whilst having a thorough understanding for music and what gets people of all types oscillating a tail!
A solid name in house music for the past few years now, Andre has released through labels including Cheap Thrills, Dim Mak, Fool’s Gold, MODA, Kitsuné and Southern Fried, whilst having collaborated with the likes of EDM juggernauts The Bloody Beetroots and The Crookers. He is one of the most in demand remixers at the moment, lending his signature sound to tracks from Congorock, autoKratz, Burns, Armand Van Helden and Don Rimini to name a few.
YOLO caught up with His Majesty Andre and he presented them with his top five beats and pizza spots, mostly in Italy, but also one in London. Hear what Italian royalty has to say...
Five Pizza Joints

Ristorante Pizzeria La Magolfa
via Magolfa 15, Milano
In Milan, out from the fashion allure and the over-priced micro-meals, you can find the best places to eat proper Italian food. It won’t be the forniture to be at the center of your meal but just what you’re eating. Close to the Navigli area, pizza is baked in a real wood-fired oven which gives to it the proper taste of authentic of pizza.

Roscioli
Via dei Chiavari 34, Roma
In Rome it’s easier to grab a slice of great pizza in a bakery than in a proper pizzeria. Roscioli can offer a wide range of bakery products but the pizza is quite special. La bella vita is made of these little things!

Pizzeria Di Matteo
Via dei Tribunali 94, Napoli
This time is easy: cheap, tasty and original. Napoli is the birth place of pizza, great pizza is everywhere so very hard to pick one. I choose this one as in the city center and the queue outside will worth the wait. Try the classic pizza or the fried one. “Vedi Napoli e poi muori. Felicemente pieno.” (See Naples and then die. Happily full.)

Pizzeria Rosticceria Il Gambero
Largo San Francesco, Alghero
Sardinia is better known for it’s fascinating history, cheeses, wines and ‘porcetto al forno’. But if you’re spending some time in Alghero, you can’t miss one of the best ‘pizza al taglio’ ever. Proper street-pizza to be eaten al fresco, just outside the shop, with a tipical Sardinian beer, called Ichnusa.

Ristorante Pizzeria Oliveto
49 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9PP, United Kingdom
If you’re looking for a real pizza in London, you can’t miss this one. It’s also in my personal chart of the “best pizza ever” to me: made by Italians, with fresh ingredients from Italy, in possibly my favourite city.
