The man who began mulletover with partner in crime Rob Star knows a thing or two about a decent party. Having just celebrated their eighth birthday over the weekend, mulletover goes from strength to sthrength and Geddes himself is now a world renowned DJ and producer with releases on his very own Murmur label, Leftroom and Tsuba. Ahead of the release of his first compilation cd charting the eight years of mulletover, we asked him to give us his top five picks for festivals this year.
1. Snowbombing festival / Eastern Electrics, 12th April
I've never been to snowbombing but am totally relishing the chance to expeience the snow and a party in the mountains for the first time. This Thursday I'm playing with Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler and Damian Lazarus.
2. mulletover Ibiza opening at Sankeys, 26th May
We're returning to Ibiza this year to do four parties at Sankeys, the opening featuring Julio Bashmore, Joy Orbison, Huxley and myself. Its been a few years but we're well excited to be back!
3. Hideout Festival, Croatia, 29th June
From the amount of good stories I heard about this place last year I can't wait to see what it's all about. mulletover host a daytime party with Seth Troxler, Nina Kraviz and myself.
4. Bloc, 6th & 7th July, London
London's version of Sonar and it looks so impressive, we're hosting the Hub on Saturday night with Jamie Jones and Art Department, Steffi and my good self. Massive weekend!
5. Eastern Electrics, 4th August, London
The guys have done really well so far with still more acts to announce, probably the hottest ticket in town in August.
