Kiki - exclusive mix & top ten

Kiki has been a big part of the Berlin's BPitch crew for over ten years after moving to Berin from his home of Helskinki back in the 90's.  A DJ before he even reached his teens, he's known for his sweeping orchestral techno and tight beats  and his debut album, Run With Me, is a firm favourite in many a techno fan's record collection.  This Saturday 10th March, he jets across the Channel along with fellow BPitch boss, Ellen Allien,  to play the label's first UK showcase outside of fabric for Krankbrother.  To give us a taste of what we can expect on the night, here's Kiki's latest top ten and 60 minutes of him in the mix, exclusively on Pulse.

1. Kiki & Chaim: Love Kills! (BPitch Control)

My next single on BPitch is a collaboration with Chaim & Cari Golden and it´s coming out in 4 different versions- very happy about it!

2. Slok: Roots (One)

Great new single by a Italian newcomer on Subb-An´s and Adam Shelton´s label.

3. Re.You: Faling - Philip Bader remix (Souvenir)

Infectious vocal tune backed up by remix by Philip Bader who´s pretty much always on point.

4. Ultrasone: Meetin´again (Supplement Facts)

Guy Gerber´s supplement facts always delivers the goods and this one, by the Belgian newcomers Ultrasone, is taking it seriously deep.

5. Medicine 8 & Kurtis Hardrive: Cry Baby (Trashmouth)

Don´t know too much about the producers, but I found this tune somewhere between the huge masses of promomails I´m getting every day and it struck me straight ahead.

6. Fur Coat: You & I feat. Cari Golden (Crosstown Rebels) 

I can see the cheeky vocal about "love like cooking ketamine" getting huge reactions at the afterhours. It´s also nice to see how Cari, who´s on so many records at the moment, can always sound very different.

7. Claude von Stroke & Jaw: Le Fantome (Dirtybird) 

First time ever that Claude Von Stroke has worked with a vocalist and it´s turned out great collaboration with DOP`s jaw!

8. Dillon: Tip Tapping - Chaim remix (BPitch Control)

Dillon´s album on BPitch is great listening and even my mom loves it! Chaim has turned out one of the standout tracks for the dancefloor, but instead of remixing, he actually covered it with male vocals.

9. Subb-An: Take you back (Spectral)

Subb-An is on fire for sure and here´s his new single on Spectral featuring Beckford on vocals.

10. Marco Resmann & Kiki: Beggin for the heat (Watergate)

This is a collaboration by me & Marco Resmann and it´s an exclusive track for his mix compilation for the Berlin club Watergate.  It´s also out a s single with remixes by Pan-Pot & Ruede Hagelstein and getting great support as we speak!
