In an industry first, Tiesto has just unveiled a new app for the iPhone and iPad that’s available now at the App Store. To correlate with the release, his Tiesto.com and InTheBooth.com websites have been redesigned and re-launched as well. The app allows users to stream Tiesto’s music and Club Life podcast on a custom player. It also will serve as a portal to connect fans around the world, view concert footage and photos and purchase tickets to upcoming shows.
It’s no small feat to create an app from the ground up, and the fact that Tiesto and his management team have done so is a testament to exactly how profitable the Dutch DJ’s brand has become. What artists would you like to see an app developed for?
