Is it just us, or is there something really bizarre about broadcasting a funeral live on national television across multiple networks? The thought is pretty messed up, but that's exactly what has happened follwing the recent passing of singer Whitney Houston; those sick fucks at CNN have obviously scored a deal to televise it, no doubt selling it at a hefty profit to other channels.
The only good thing we can see that's come out of this whole macabre charade is the fact that Stevie Wonder attended the funeral to share a few memories of Whitney and to sing a couple of his own songs: A rewritten version of his 1982 song Ribbon In The Sky (apparently a favorite of Houston’s) and the Songs In The Key Of Life track Love’s In Need Of Love Today.
Oh yeah, R. Kelly also sang a song...did we mention there was only one good thing to come out of this? Watch all three performances below.
