New Order & Joy Division Master Tapes Discovered by Jamie Oliver

According to NME, Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has apparently found rare New Order and Joy Division master tapes whilst digging up the basement of a new restaurant in Manchester.

The new restaurant, being built in a former branch of Midland bank, was being excavated when the tapes were discovered along with other treasure such as guns, gold and jewellery. The total value of the haul is £1.1 million, and since discovering the loot, Oliver has given everything found in the basement to the treasury.

New Order have been announced as headliners of this year's Exit Festival in Serbia and will also be headlining Australia's Future Music Festival this March. Enter our competition here.
