It has been announced that not one Jersey Shore cast member will be coming to Oz for what we can loosely name a DJ gig, but now it's also been confirmed that Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino will be stopping into Eve Nightclub in Melbourne for a DJ set. “Performing a one-hour exclusive DJ set with brother Marc, the Situation is sure to get you on the dancefloor, both hands in the air and fists pumping as he mixes current commercial, house and RnB hits,” trumpets the website. Is this the end of EDM as we know it? Now literally everyone is apparently a DJ.
When ITM announced that Ronnie Magro would be coming to Sydney for a 'DJ gig' with his Jersey Shore laundry partner DJ Fingaz, they were barraged with complaints so much so that when announcing the above Situation's new show they started with an apology. Maybe this is just Jersey Shore's way of getting into Burning Man with the hope the last tickets are going to DJ's. No idea, but please make it stop.
