Rainbow Serpent 2012 Final Acts Revealed

Western Victoria's beloved Rainbow Serpent Festival has just announced the final round of names for its 2012 edition. First up is Swedish techno producer Petter, best known for his melodic techno productions for the likes of Studio Barnhaus and James Holden's Border Community label.

Second off the rank is acclaimed violinist, composer, sound designer and music technologist Laura Escudé; currently touring Australia with Kanye West and taking some time out from her tour to perform at the festival's Chill Stage.

In other news for the festival, German techno and deep house producer Lawrence has cancelled his Australian tour and will no longer be performing.

The Rainbow Serpent Festival has come a long way over the years, from a small gathering in a secluded clearing to an internationally recongnised, multifaceted weekend of dance, colour, expression, celebration, and of course electronic music - with now over 10,000 plus in attendance each year. People travel from all over the world to Western Victoria to experience what some have said is the best outdoor festival of it’s type in the Southern Hemisphere.
