Pure Ivy Radio Episode 2: Thomas Gold

Earlier this month we launched the first episode of Pure Ivy Radio on Pulse; a celebration of Pure Ivy Saturday's which has become a mainstay at the infamous Ivy club in Sydney. The very first episode was kicked off by Alison Wonderland, who won EMI's 'She Can DJ Competition' last year. Manning the decks for episode two of Pure Ivy Radio is rising German talent Thomas Gold, who's mix is available for stream exclusively here on Pulse Radio. 

Thomas Gold started to become recognised worldwide in 2009 when his anthemic remix of Delerium’s classic Silence dominated the Beatport chart and picked up the coveted Beatport Music Award for “Best Progressive House Track”.

His talent as a producer has resulted in a string of massively successful single releases such as Don´t You Want Me and Everybody Be Somebody, and his skill as a remixer has also seen him remix tracks for artists like Erick Morillo, Paul van Dyk, Roger Sanchez and Ian Carey. It's these talents, along with his DJing prowess of fusing house and electro styles, are why he has gained such a revered following with clubbers around the world, where he keeps them dancing till the early hours.

It was in 2010/11 when the man become a household name, resulting from two collaborations with Australia's own Dirty South, including Alive, and his breakthrough remix of Adele‘s Set Fire to the Rain.

The eminent and reputable Thomas Gold, already successful in his latest productions and releases, continues to astound audiences around the globe with his distinctive sound he delivers through each and every set.
