There have been so many, Eats Everything emerging, T.Williams with the forever rewound 'Heartbeat' that's nothing less than outright goodness. Terri Walker vocals coupled with T's UK funky, jazz and classic house inspired soundwaves...you can't go wrong! Evidence...T.William's incredible garage inspired set at Eastern Electric's August warehouse offering, which just so happens to be one of our finest moments of 2011 in clubland.
Robert Dietz played an impeccable set as did the phenomenon that is Maya Jane Coles, her escalating this year being a highlight in itself! Julio Bashmore's Battle For Middle You garnering unanimous support. Scuba still existing. Skrillex's nominations. Hidden's emancipation. Bass music fusing with house, eliminating and blurring the boundaries...the list goes on.
To look forward to? The re-discovery of disco. The rise of moombahton on our dancefloors. Jamie Jones' Hot Creations label. The ever exciting TRIX night establishing itself as a leader in the new wave of the house and bass crossover....
And last but by no means list, the growth of our beloved FOUND brand. There's heaps in store for the mighty F: next year as it continues to bring progressive underground sounds to Hidden's Friday calendar and sets its sites further afield. FOUND's going big. Watch this space ; )
