Das Racist Curate Live Music Show

Das Racist Curate Live Music Show

In a continuation of our syndication with the Berlin based Network Awesome - the underground success from anarchic taste maker and electronic producer Jason Forrest, we are pleased to bring you "The Live Music Show" cuated by Brooklyn avant hip hop act, Das Rascist.

Network Awesome curates programming from public sources, collecting all the links together, and streaming it linearly to the viewer. Broadcasting six shows per day of programs and movies that are loved but difficult to find (check out the features on MTV video art, London's jungle scene, the rise of disco, electronic music history, Wu-Tang Clan collections, etc) and creating original programs that focus on live music, history, and variety show style entertainment.

One of Network Awesome's features is "The Live Music Show", in which guest curators pick out their favorite clips of live music. One of the curators are the New York rap group Das Racist who are scheduled to appear at the Big Day Out festival in Australia later this month. In their role as "Live Music Show" curators, Das Racist have picked out obscure music video gems such a young MGMT covering the Talking Heads, and Herbie Hancock performing at a 1971 festival.

Watch the group's episode of "The Live Music Show" below, and hold tight for astral jazz traveler Sun Ra getting hectic with an unfortunate keyboard.
