A Reckless February

We're not even through January yet, but the people at Reckless Republic have set up some killer acts for their February line-up at The Spice Cellar. As always, entry is free with gustlist before midnight and just $20 after  midnight for all the events listed below. Submit your guest lists here.

Kicking things off on February 4th is Martin Eyerer; a DJ for 20 years and just as many years a producer, label owner, radio show producer. His & Rainer Weichhold’s label Kling Klong is already turning 7 years old! With artists like Namito, Oliver Klein, Heartik, Kaiserdisco, Hermanez, Chase Buch & Nick Olivetti, Nicole Moudaber and of course himself and Rainer as well, the label has been releasing strong dance floor oriented tech-house numbers ever since its creation.

From 10pm, Sat February 4th.

Next on the agenda, a DJ, producer and remixer featured on some world renowned labels like Global Underground, Ministry of Sound, Renaissance and Underground Resistance. Peter Horrevorts is a name that has been echoing around the globe and has become synonymous with top shelf house & tech house dance floor orientated music.

Next up for Feb is David James, AKA Trus'me, llabel owner of Prime Numbers and creator of disco/deep house/Detroit influenced choice cuts, who has seen tremendous success since the release of his debut LPs Working Nights and In The Red. His sets have often been compared to Moodymann as he plays across genres effortlessly and shows off his versatility and ability to read the crowds. Catch Trus'me as House Inspection presents his set at The Spice Cellar on 18th Feb.

Then on the 25th is the Beef Records Label Night with Shades Of Gray. United by a passion for producing and playing, and a disillusionment with a music industry obsessed with genres Nick West and Michal Schwa soon began performing and producing together under the Shades Of Gray moniker. They've quickly gained a reputation as one of the hottest acts on the Sydney underground scene by rocking the floor at legendary Reckless Republic parties in Kings Cross. Since then they've kept up a presence DJing around Australia, produced a string of EPs and managed their own label, Beef Records. This is one night not to be missed.
