“On this one I wanted to take it back to my essence of DJ-ing, right?” said DJ Shadow a cheering at the beginning of his set at Boiler Room last week.
“The first record I bought when I was ten years old was ‘The Adventures Of Grandmaster Flash On The Wheels of Steel’ and that’s what this is kind of about – it’s all the samples I used to make the record I just put out.”
This 30-minute showcase shows off of his sampling prowess and gives an insight into his latest album The Less You Know the Better.
