RA's recent Poll of the 20 top labels of the year counted down to one sure winner; Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels label. The imprint has been on the edge of collaps three times in it's life due to distribution closures but in testamant to Lazaras' passion, skill and vision, he has assembled a family of artists coming from other crews (with labels making the top 20 list also). Art Department, Deniz Kurtel from Wolf + Lamb, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss of Hot Creations, Seth Troxler of Visionquest and also the most talked about solo artists of the moment including Maceo Plex and Dinky. Clearly Damian's a scary judge of talent and character, we're becoming accustomed to seeing Crosstown Rebels next to the top releases and tours in all things house. With Rebel Rave parties continuing the hype there's one word on everyone's lips at the moment and it's 'Rebel'.
