1000 Most Influential SoundCloud Users

SoundCloudWall publishes a monthly playlist of the 1000 most influential tracks on SoundCloud. The Wall uses a ranking algorithm that takes into account who created each track, whose commented on each track and whose favourited each track. The more influential the users are that Create, Favourite or Comment on a track the higher it's ranking will be. This is unlike the traditional charts which are simply a measure of how many people like something.

Now, Soundcloud has published a list of the 1000 most influential users on soundcloud between Augsut and December 2011, here. You'll see some of the Top 50 Most influential Soundcloud users include Brainfeeder boss Flying Lotus  and 3024 head Martyn, as well as Africa Hitech's Mark Pritchard amongst many others.

With all three of those artists, and others, coming to Australia in January for Hold Tight, we can guarantee January is going to deliver some fine live music! Also figuring in the Top 50 are Fourtet, Deetron, and Skream and forthcomig Australian tourist Osunlade.
