One Night Stand with Canyons

Picnic bring you One Night Stand featuring Canyons on the 1st of October. BYO, warehouse, fancy dress, great tunes... what more do you need? After three One Night Stands, two that have sold out, Picnic are back with Canyons who are about to drop their debut LP on Modular, Keep Your Dreams, and a reputation for playing everything from dusty soul to banging acid house.



Ryan Griece (aka Ryan Sea-mist) and Leo Tomson (aka Leo Holiday), the Canyons, have cemented themselves as true music lovers with a knack for producing the good shit. They've had music released by everyone from DFA records, Jaques Renault's killer On The Prowl label and obviously Australian powerhouse Modular Records.

This is a rare chance to see Canyons in a crazy warehouse environment, where they can do what they want and more importantly play whatever they want. It could be one of the last times they rule such an intimate show, these two are destined for big things. To get it all next level Picnic are making (inviting) you all dress up. Theme: Freaks. Third head? A fetish for the bizarre? Nudist? An obsession with tennis players? Pink hair, blue hair, yellow hair? Huuuge feet? Elephantitis?
