It's only just over a weeks sleep until trance heavyweights Marco V and Richard Durand hit Australian shores, and it appears as though the duo have a lot of love for the crowds down under. In recent interviews with Future Entertainment for their upcoming Godskitchen 2011: A Trance Odyssey tour, the DJs expressed their enthusiasm for playing to Australian audiences.
“The audience in Australia is just fantastic! You know, you get so much great reaction from the crowd when you’re playing your tracks. So that’s the biggest difference, from even Europe. I’m really excited to be back,” explained Marco. "You know I did Godskitchen once before… and I really enjoyed that. I was with Richard Durand last week in Taiwan and really enjoyed his set, so I’m looking forward to being back with him as well for this tour.”
Richard Durand backed up his pal's praise, saying; "Australians are so nice and so into the music - they love to party! And I’m also looking forward to the weather too. The first gig I had in 2007 was for Godskitchen, and the tour was quite amazing for me. I had so much fun. Now, I have loads of good songs, new remixes, a new compilation and my new album: there will be plenty of song choices for me to play!".
The pair will be headlining the Godskitchen 2011 Tour with support from fellow trance aficionados John Askew and Ben Gold. The tour will kick off on Friday the 30th September in Perth, stopping over in all other major cities until the final gig in Melbourne on Saturday 8th October.
