On September 10th and 11th, Glasgow's Electric Frog Festival returns for its third instalment of 2011 after successful events in April and July. Saturday's line-up showcases some of the most legendary figures in techno and house; Jeff Mills and Derrick May will appear on the Slam-hosted Pressure street stage alongside the newer talent of Len Faki and Levon Vincent while Frankie Knuckles and Joe Claussell join Melting Pot‘s Andrew Pirie and Southport Weekender-regular, Bob Jeffries on the ‘Ten Years of Melting Pot’ stage.

With a number of live band performances planned, Sunday’s line-up is something of a departure from previous events. On the street stage, post-punk institution The Fall play the same bill as Mercury Awards-nominated newcomers Wild Beasts, Scottish post-rock behemoths Mogwai and their fellow Scots’ Errors. Indoors, SWG hosts ambient dub-techno figureheads, The Orb alongside post-dubstep darlings Mount Kimbie, Detroit’s Jimmy Edgar and the Field’s lush electronics.
