Volvo Snowbombing 2011 wraps up.

Featuring 5 days of sunshine on the snow, competitions, fancy dress and countless parties, Snowbombing 2011 is wrapped up for another year. This years festival included performances from artists Jamie Jones, The Prodigy, Magnetic Man, Chase and Status (Live) and many more.

After putting out the question "Who would you like to see headling Volvo Snowbombing 2011?", the overwhelming response being "The Prodigy", Snowbombing invested the most money they ever have on a sound system including a full 30k more just on subs to get the bass loud enough for The Prodigy to agree to play. The guys impressed with not only sound quality but also a light show that made the forest seem like it was on fire. The crowd going crazy especially when Smack My Bitch Up was played to finish off, before an encore of Out Of Space.

Snowbombing brought people together with Ski and Snowboarding competitions, parties dress ups, a car give away (Francessca Evans who with her husband made a last minute decision to go to Snowbombing, getting some of the last tickets 10 days before the event and is now going home with a shiny new Volvo C30.) games, stand up comedy and many other festivities it's no wonder why revellers who have been to a Snowbombing rave about it being the best festival they've ever been to.

Magnetic Man got tongues wagging even on the plane to the event with their MC grabbing the onflight Mic and giving everyone some beats. Magnetic Man, the dubstep supergroup with Benga, Skream and Artwork. Following on from MistaJam was always going to be a task, as he was on fire, but they stepped up to the plate and hit it into Row Z on Day 4.

Gossip from the slopes included Charlie Sheen's attendance but it would seem it was a Charlie Sheen costume rather than the original.
