Henry Saiz To Mix Balance 019

Spanish DJ and producer Henry Saiz is the next artist in line to mix the esteemed Balance series, following on from Nick Warren (018), Timo Maas (017) and Agoria (016).

Saiz is a great explorer of sounds and his productions are an expression of his diverse taste and great passion towards music. Well known for his driving and progressive, melodic techno sounds, Saiz is also well-versed in ambient and experimental electronica, not to mention his vast instrumental experience and production skills in the field of music for film and tv. He also runs his own label, Natura Sonoris, leads the electronic band Tyrant and hosts his own podcast series that explores vast musical offerings, from soundscapes to chip-tunes, titled The Labyrinth.

His mix for Balance is an insight into his deep-seated passion for conceptualised music, exploring how music has the power to contain and store personal emotional experiences. Henry has crafted a lo-fi sound for disc one through the use of analogue formats such as cassette or vinyl, while disc two shows Henry building intensity for the dancefloor with tracks from Ricardo Tober, Okain, Simon Garcia and AMyn.

Henry has only included unreleased productions and exclusive collaborations for this release, and his new moniker, Hal Incandenza, will be heard for the first time on the tracks Little Mountains and Mystical Tree. The release even includes tracks that were made especially for this mix, which are collaborations from Henry with Marc Marzenit, Dosem and Pional.
