If BPM was a bit too warm for you, then Montreal’s Igloofest could be a suitable alternative. Running on the last three weekends (13th – 29th) of January the festival takes place on the Jacques-Cartier Pier on the Quays, in what they’ve dubbed the ‘igloo kingdom’ (pictured above and below). Described by the festival as 'Igloofest is set to turn the city into a wild winter playground with its unique, punchy audio-visual ambience and electrifying atmosphere.'
This year will be the 5th installment of Igloofest and the line up features Andrew Weatherall, Stanton Warriors, Robyn, Ikonika, Lee Foss, Thomas Von Party, Seth Troxler, Minicoolboyz, Anja Schneider, Lunice, Egyptrixx, Round Table Knights, Isolée, Akufen, Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts, Pépé Bradock, Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and more.
