Download New Flying Lotus Tracks With Your Webcam

If you have been following Flying Lotus on Twitter over the past few weeks, you may have noticed that he's been hinting at a gift to reward his true fans for buying his records. Today, the LA beat-maker has presented that gift through revolutionary technology.

Flying Lotus: “I’m really into old jazz traditions and I felt Cosmogramma was my jazz record in a sense. In that spirit, for anyone who’s bought the album, we’ve made something they can use to get new tracks and alternate takes...We’re making a big fuss…”

For those who bought last year's Cosmogramma, the L.A. beat-maker is offering up extra material via his innovative web application, Trigger. It scans pictures of your original CD or vinyl copy of Cosmogramma or, if you bought it digitally, the PDF booklet. You are then awarded a download that contains alternate versions of tracks off the album along with some songs that didn't make the final cut.
