As anyone that's been involved with launching a website will confirm, web developers are @rseholes.
Lacking in people skills.
Deadline shy.
Afraid of commitment.
Moody.
Negative.
We could go on. And on.
Yep, in the two plus years we've been working to get this site off the ground we've worked with more than our fair share of pricks.
While we could literally write a book about our experiences it would do little more than upset us, and more than likely bore you. But without exaggeration, we've seen it all. A manager having to sell his prized fußball table to pay his staff. Developers who can't even get a Blogspot page sorted, let alone a functioning website. A project manager upsetting his team so much, one of them hacks into the site and inserts a virus. Not to mention the floods, public holidays, depression, civil wars, volcanoes, fires, poverty and security breaches that we told ourselves were part of the fun.
However with the team we eventually found we can do nothing but salute them. Friendly, prompt, and efficient. Total arse kissing is avoided by not mentioning their name.
So it's with a great deal of pride that we are finally launching Pulse Radio beta. Still work in progress we've got a lot more to come over the future months, but here for you now is the fruit of our collective loins.
Tired but grinning, see you on the flipside.
(One of the tunes that would be played at the infamous Pulse moral boosting meetings when things looked to be 5star f**ked)
