Born and raised in Istanbul Onur Engin started DJing & music production in 2006, right after he discontinued his political sciences Ph.D in Paris. His sample based electronic music is mainly influenced by jazz, soul, funk & disco. In the past three years he has had great feedback & airplay from artists/djs like Laurent Garnier, Greg Wilson, Gilles Peterson, Andy Smith, Ursula 1000, Robert Luis, Michael Ruetten, Jeremy Sole, Dicky Trisco, Dom Servini, Kevin Beadle, Simon Harrison, Solid Steel, Mo' Horizons, Simbad etc... and he has had many 12" releases on labels like GAMM, Square, Plimsoll, Music For Dreams & from his own edit imprint OE. He is also the music director of Turkey's biggest restaurant group "Istanbul Doors".
