Dan Ward is a hard man to pigeon hole musically, he’s one half of the production duo ‘Acid Mondays’ alongside Alex Wolfenden where their psychedelic slant on house & techno has gained support from DJ Sneak, Yousef, Sascha Dive, Osunlade, Brawther and many others. He also produces under the alias ‘Negghead’ where he works alongside Nightmares On Wax’s guiding light DJ EASE on the label ‘Wax On Records’. His debut album ‘Scrambled Negg’ was championed by Benji B, Moodymann, Ashley Beedle and received many plaudits for its laid back soulful grooves. Based in Ibiza, Dan is a resident DJ at the infamous ‘Wax Da Jam’ & ‘Wax Da Beach’ parties alongside DJ EASE where every week they host guests such as DJ Shadow, Bonobo, Roots Manuva & Daddy G. He’s also a regular at We Love Space on Sundays, was a resident at Café Mambo for 2 years and has toured regularly around Europe & Australia for the past 4 years with Nightmares On Wax, Acid Mondays and as Negghead. With recent releases on Compost, 20:20 Vision, Illusion, Wax On and up & coming releases on Deep Vibes, BBE & Circus Recordings Dan is anything but predictable.
