The wide-eyed, dodo racing, rabbit chasing girl of Lewis Carol’s opium induced fantasies has officially been superseded.
This Alison didn’t fall down anything; she jumped head first down the rabbit hole and landed straight on the decks.
Armed with turntables, a killer vibe and an open mind, Alison turns countless dance floors across Australia into your favourite kind of Wonderland: more beats, less croquet.
Beginning with a background in indie and classical, Wonderland’s best card is her eclecticism. Throughout her youth Wonderland toured Europe as a principal cellist for the Sydney Youth Orchestra and later played bass in a successful local indie band.
With an insatiable appetite for new music, a night could see her chew through the best of disco, indie, hip hop, house, baltimore and everything in between.
Wonderland has performed at Splendour in the Grass, Parklife, Field Day, Good Vibrations Festival, Sydney Fashion Festival, Future Music Festival, Coaster Festival, Conception day, Harbour Party and more, not to mention consistently headlining a bevy of the top clubs around the country.
But that’s not all folks! Wonderland has been the support dj for an extraordinary list of artists including Cypress Hill, Miike Snow, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, A-Trak, Public Enemy, Arctic Monkeys, The Temper Trap, Yuksek, M.I.A, De La Soul, Spindarella (Salt n Pepa), Kele from Bloc Party and many more.
Wonderland is the party, rumour has it she never sleeps and is reasonably good friends with Oprah.
