The She Can DJ female DJ contest is back, announcing this year's Top 10 national finalists. Last year Minx took out the title, landing a global recording contract with EMI and a priceless networking trip to London and Ibiza, proving the competition to be an incredible opportunity for aspiring female DJs. Last year's runner Up Alison Wonderland also scored an EMI record deal, and both women have since released compilation albums and toured both nationally and internationally.
This year's grand final will be held at The Ivy on September 5th. The winner shall be chosen by a panel of industry judges including EMI Music Executive Vice President Bart Cools and 10 year Pacha Ibiza resident DJ Sarah Main. This year's winner will receive an EMI record deal, an international networking trip and a weekly mix on the Southern Cross Austereo dance music show Party People.
