EDM has taken another step towards full blown legitimacy with the announcement from MTV that it has added “Best Electronic Dance Music Video” to its list of yearly Awards. Although the nominees don’t come as a shock, it certainly is a huge step forward for the dance music community in America. The nominees consist of Martin Solveig “The Night Out,” Avicii “Levels,” Skrillex “First of the Year (Equinox),” Calvin Harris “Feel So Close,” and Ducksauce “Big Bad Wolf.”
You can spot Solveig’s fellow DJ friends - Laidback Luke (drums), A-Trak, Dillion Francis, & more in the video as Martin takes his girl for a night out on the town.
